Travel Basics
Classes of Service
One of the most important things you can do for a client is match them to the right cabin. Here's what each class delivers:
CABIN
Premium Economy
More legroom and wider seats than standard Economy. Upgraded dining, priority boarding, and enhanced baggage allowances.
CABIN
Business Class
Lie-flat or angled-flat seats, fine dining, lounge access, and enhanced baggage. Most carriers offer direct aisle access in 1-2-1 configuration.
CABIN
First Class
Maximum comfort and privacy, dedicated service, premium dining, exclusive lounge experiences. Emirates, Singapore, Etihad: a truly transformative journey.
Fare Types Explained
| FARE TYPE | WHAT IT IS | ADVISOR BENEFIT |
|---|---|---|
| Published Fare | Publicly available airline pricing | Earn commissions; build client trust |
| NET Fare | Discounted fare with built-in advisor margin | Set your own selling price and profit margin |
| Private / Negotiated | Contracted rates not available to the public | Access exclusive pricing via Regal Wings |
| Refundable | Fully changeable / refundable ticket | Ideal for clients with flexible plans |
| Non-Refundable | Lower cost; change fees apply | Best value when dates are confirmed |
Seasonality & Pricing
Fares fluctuate based on advance purchase windows, holidays, and peak travel periods. Booking early — often 6 to 11 months out — secures better rates and cabin availability.
PEAK SEASONS
Summer (Jun–Aug), December holidays, and school spring breaks command the highest premiums.
VALUE SEASONS
January–March (excl. holidays) and September–October often offer excellent NET fare opportunities.
PRO TIP
NET fares are a powerful advisor tool. The earlier you quote and confirm, the better the pricing and inventory. When in doubt, submit the request — your Regal Wings specialist will find the best option.
Best NET Fares

| Booking window | Best NET rates available 3–11 months prior to departure |
| How to access | Submit a quote request through your Regal Wings advisor portal |
